Cody Fern, the young Australian who made his stage debut to great acclaim as the lead in the recent West End run of War Horse, has big things brewing in Hollywood after his breakout role in FX's American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, in which he shares the screen with Darren Criss.

Hailing from a small mining town in western Australia, with only a few prior credits to his name, the newcomer plays Andrew Cunanan's ex boyfriend, and his second and most misunderstood victim, David Madson - a performance labelled 'unforgettable' by Entertainment News and 'irresistibly vulnerable' by Vanity Fair. Hot on the heels of this success, the 29 year old has been announced as a regular in the upcoming sixth and final series of Netflix political drama House of Cards, premiering in August 2018.
